ABOUT

Lisa is a photographer and art teacher in New York City.  For the past 16 years, she has taught visual art to students aged 9-21 in the Bronx, NY and Villanova, PA.  In her classroom and personal work, Lisa views art as a tool to question, create truth, and connect with ourselves and others.  She loves watching her students' creative processes unfold, and seeing them proud of what they make. She still can't believe she gets to make art with young people all day as her job. 

She is proud to carry on the teachings of the heart-filled pack of Sicilian women who brought her up,  and to be the mommy of 2 joyful little humans.
