Lisa is a photographer and art teacher in New York City. For the past 14 years, she has taught visual art and photography to adolescents, teenagers and young adults in the Bronx, NY and Villanova, PA. In her classroom and in her own work, she views art as a tool to make connections, build empathy, disrupt injustice, sharpen all sorts of skills, question, process and heal. She loves watching her students' creative processes unfold, and seeing them proud of what they make. She still can't believe she gets to make art with young people all day as her job.
